Today went to Fort Canning (Battle Box) and Kranji Cemetery. I didn't explore the battle box because I don't dare. :( At Kranji, it was the most meaningful trip. I saw a lot of graves of people who died in the World War 2. I felt so sorry for them. Hearing the tour guide, Miss Susan says about the WW2, I really feel so sorry. Later, we had a ceremony of remembrance of the people died. I volunteered to hold the flags. I hold on to Australia's flag in the ceremony. At Kranji, I also saw the 2 late presidents grave. They were all buried in a state land. I, myself still don't believe that I saw the presidents' grave in my own eyes. It was really an honour to see it. At the end of our trip, as we were heading back to school, Miss Susan gave us each a copy of the surrender document. Although it is not an original copy (not expecting it to be one), I was really pleased! I'll treasure it :)
